Legal Counsel


COMO Global S.A. is a Luxembourg Fintech providing payment infrastructure for payment transaction processing and multicurrency IBAN’s for transactions in multiple currencies through our platform delivered to COMO’s sister companies. We are operating globally in different legal jurisdictions.   


Your Job 


  • Your key priority is ensuring the Company is in line with Luxembourg law and regulatory requirements  

  • Responsible for timely completion and coverage of department tasks 

  • Provide legal support and advice to upper management on relevant legal issues  

  • Ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations, and other formalities 

  • Preparation and negotiation of legal documents such as statements, agreements, legal opinions etc. 

  • Advising on arrangements with strategic commercial partners for product initiatives and other arrangements including drafting and negotiating relevant agreements; 

  • Supporting all companies within the COMO Group with respect to governmental filings and compliance requirements and advising on proposals for new entities or changes to existing entities 

  • Providing support to the Commercial and IT team in the preparation and negotiation of contracts with clients, suppliers and managing internal approval processes 

  • Providing legal advice to HR teams on policy issues and employee relations 

  • Assisting staff with the approval of internal and external communications and presentations. 

  • Execute procedures for protecting patents, trademarks, and designs 

  • Prepare and handle litigation 

  • Keeping up with current changes in all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function 

  • Being responsible for the internal Whistleblowing process 

Your Profile 


  • Law degree, comparable training, or experience 

  • 3-5 years experiences working in a legal role in a Fintech or Tech company   

  • Knowledge and understanding of the international legal and regulatory framework 

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken 

  • Soft skills

  • Attention to detail, with a can-do attitude 

  • Problem-solving skills taking into consideration the big picture
